Not too much has been going on, though I feel compelled to comment on a few points. As I'm sure you've seen in the news, the CEO of Linden Lab has recently departed and the founder and former-CEO Philip Rosedale is coming back on board to man the helm, at least for the short term. I'm not compelled to spend a lot of time talking about it on a public forum, but I will say that I am optimistic that the company is making some intelligent decisions about what the focus and direction should be for the future of both Linden Lab and SecondLife.
In other news... actually I don't really have any other news. Work is going ok, though there have definitely been some big adjustments. Tomorrow I am picking up a kitchen island that I found on craigslist. $30 and I can finally realize my dream of adequate counter space. This is step one in my spring cleaning and organization initiative. Though, I guess, technically, it's more of a summer cleaning. Still, Summer in San Francisco is a lot like Spring (or a mild winter) almost everywhere else.
Oh and I got the results for my latest hA1C test back earlier this week and I got a 5.9. Anything under 6 is considered non-diabetic (for normal folks) so I am doing a good job of controlling my blood sugars. It was actually better than I expected. My last test was a 6.1, which is still quite good, but I tried extra hard these past six months to keep on top of things and watch my diet. So, hey, go me.
