More Griping about Health Care

Health Insurance in the country is a joke. Even when you have insurance (as I do), you still have to jump through countless bureaucratic hurdles. Anyway, my employer recently changed insurance providers. Unfortunately, I have an outstanding series of prescriptions that I really need to get filled. Now, I technically have insurance but neither my clinic nor my pharmacy knows that. Now, I will tell them tomorrow but it is just irritating that I have to, especially when my damn prescriptions need to be refilled. And so I am currently grumpy. Speaking of health care, evidently Rush Limbaugh was so impressed with Hawaii's health care he talked it up quite a bit, though, evidently he was unaware that Hawaii has mandatory state health care.

In other news, I had a good new years with Scott. We talked about zombies and developed two new story ideas. In short, we were awesome. We also did a wee bit of celebrating. Also, I didn't figure I'd enjoy going back to work but I really did. Today was productive and it was good to get out of my routine of... um... not working. And then I went to the gym. And, if I can only get over this damned cold, I will be quite pleased.
